Deadline Nears For New Rochelle YMCA Universal Pre-K

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- New Rochelle children born in 2012 who wish to participate in the universal pre-K program at the YMCA must register by Friday, Jan. 22.

In collaboration with the City School District of New Rochelle, the YMCA provides a pre-school program for 4-year-olds who will be entering kindergarten in September 2017.

The program builds on children's desire to learn new things and become self reliant in a safe and nurturing environment. Our pre-school helps children stretch their skills in mind and body through hands on learning, exploration and play

The YMCA offers a morning session from 9-11:30 a.m. and an afternoon session 12:30-3 p.m. The program operates Monday to Friday.

To register, pick up a registration forms at the New Rochelle YMCA or at Barnard School. Applications must be completed and returned to the Barnard School, 129 Barnard Road, New Rochelle. Bring proof of age and home address.
